'Lost in the Bewilderness' is not only a detective story but also a lyrical meditation on childhood, lost and found, and an exploration of how the themes of ancient Greek myth and tragedy, with the family at their center, are still very much alive in the modern world.

Film Ratings

Greek Film Fest Chicago! (GFFC) feels the need to give our patrons advance notice if a particular film in the program includes strong language, drug use, violence, nudity or adult situations.

This year, on a tentative attempt, we are using the rating system of the MOTION PICTURE ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA (MPAA). We would like to make clear that the MPAA is not in partnership or being associated with GFFC. Thus, the ratings applied to each of the 27 films in our 2015 program serve *only* as a general guideline familiar to the majority of the viewers.

At the same time, it is to be understood that GFFC is a Film Festival, which embraces films from independent filmmakers from all over the world without censorship, and that even a G rated category film may contain small amounts of 'offensive' situations that in the Festival's view point is not enough to warrant a higher rating. If during the film, a Parent feels differently, please remove your children and the manager will refund your money. If the film is totally seen, no refunds will be given.

Parents are ultimately responsible for what their children should be allowed to see and hear. Greek Film Fest Chicago! is not responsible for Parental inaction.
